Contact us
Tamar Valley Health operate a patient triage system for all medical and administrative queries. This system allows us to assess the urgency of your needs and direct you to the most appropriate care as quickly as possible.
To request medical advice, book an appointment, or make an administrative enquiry, please submit your request via our online triage system or contact the practice by phone. A member of our triage team will review your request and respond accordingly.
Phone us at Callington Health Centre 01579 382666 or Gunnislake Health Centre 01822 832641
Patients who need to be seen on the day for acute conditions will be signposted and booked to see or speak to the most appropriate clinician in our acute care team which consists of nurse practitioners, general practice paramedics, pharmacists and GPs.
Health Centres are not the appropriate place for a medical emergency, patients can call 111 for advice if they are unsure if it is an emergency or urgent care that is required. If you have a medical emergency, such as chest pain, severe breathing difficulties, severe bleeding, or signs of a stroke, you should call 999 or go to A&E immediately.

When to request a home visit

Please bear this in mind and be prepared to provide suitable details to enable the doctor to schedule house calls.
