Free Ear Syringing Cessation at Tamar Valley Health
At Tamar Valley Health we have always provided a free ear syringing service at the practice for our patients. Sadly, this service is not paid for by the NHS nationally, or locally by the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Integrated Care Board, and therefore has always been subsidised by the practice.
Due to the current unprecedented budgetary pressures on general practice, and the huge rise in demand for other services at the practice, we will unfortunately not be able to provide this service for our patients from March 2024.
This service has already been withdrawn by most other GP practices due to the above reasons.
